Ulla Grove Krogsgaard Thomsen holds a M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1992 and a Ph.D. in Structural and Analytical chemistry from 1996, both obtained at University of Copenhagen.
Dr. Thomsen joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in 2021 as the CEO. Since 2019 she has been a member of the Bord of Directors. Dr. Thomsen joined Novo Nordisk A/S in 1997 where she initially headed up various scientific and leadership positions within Protein Engineering Research. For the last 12 years Dr. Thomsen has headed up Biopharmaceuticals API production in Product Supply.
Dr. Thomsen is a Danish National, born in 1968.

Connie Langberg Heinze holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark from 1993 and an Engineering Business Administration (EBA) from 2001.
Mrs. Heinze joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in 2024 as Vice President for Quality, Projects and IT.
Mrs. Heinze joined Novo Nordisk A/S in 1993, where she held up various positions within Product Supply, R&D and Novo Nordisk Engineering. Her Leadership career started in Novo Nordisk Engineering in 2001. She has also worked for Agilent Technologies (former known as Dako A/S).
Mrs. Heinze is a Danish National, born in 1968.
Bo Højriis Frandsen

Bo Højriis Frandsen holds a Master of Science in Economics from Copenhagen University.
Mr. Frandsen started his career in Novo Nordisk A/S Corporate Finance in 2001 and has held several different management positions over the years. In 2012 he moved to Zurich to take up the position as Finance Director for Novo Nordisk International Operations. Prior to joining Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, Mr. Frandsen came from the position as Finance & Operations Director for the Novo Nordisk sales affiliate in Brazil, where he had the responsibility for Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT and Project Management Office.
Mr. Frandsen assumed the position of CFO on August 1, 2020, he is a Danish National, born in 1974.

Christoph Kalthoff holds a PhD in Biochemestry from 2003 obtained from the University of Hannover.
Dr. Kalthoff joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech in 2023 as R&D Director where he is in charge of the research portfolio as well as the development of new products.
Dr Kalthoff joined Novo Nordisk A/S in 2006 where he has headed up different scientific and management positions – latest the LabDroid Department in Research & Early Development.

John Halfdan Boiesen

John Boiesen holds a Master of Science in Forestry from University of Copenhagen.
Mr. Boiesen started his career at Novo Nordisk in 2005 as a Supply Chain Graduate and took his first leadership position in Shipping & Customer Service in 2007. Since 2007, John has held various leadership positions in Novo Nordisk A/S – Product Supply within supply chain, warehouse and business support.
Mr. Boiesen resumed the responsibility as Director of Manufacturing at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, Janaury 1. 2020.

Mrs. Kappe joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in 2022 as CCO and Director of Sales and Marketing. For more than 20 years, she has taken up regional and global commercial responsibility and held various leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry, covering sales, marketing, business development, scientific documentation, supply chain, R&D, manufacturing and quality. Prior joining Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, Mrs. Kappe was heading up a CDMO owned by Orifarm, and prior to that, she worked for companies like Lundbeck, Leo Pharma and Coloplast.

Sune Keller

Before joining Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, Mr. Keller has been working at many geographical sites in Novo Nordisk A/S within Product Supply. The past 20 years, he has obtained broad experience within HR and leadership and has been in various leadership positions in Novo Nordisk A/S. Later in his career, Mr. Keller has been a Senior Project Manager coaching leaders in Product Supply, whereas he in 2015 assumed the position as HR Business Partner focusing on providing coaching and sparring for all leaders while driving change management.
Mr. Keller joined Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in March 2022, where he currently is in a dual role both heading up the P&O department while being a senior HR Business Partner, where he is responsible for driving the P&O agenda forward. Mr. Keller is a Danish National, born in 1975.
