“Dansk Erhverv Magasinet” has interviewed Ulla Grove Krogsgaard Thomsen about her background at Novo Nordisk, her first years as a leader in the then male-dominated world, and how she strives as the CEO at @Novo Nordisk Pharmatech.
“To be successful as a leader, it is not enough to have control of the chemical processes. You also need to have the right chemistry with your employees.”
With a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry and 25 years of experience at Novo Nordisk, Ulla Grove Krogsgaard Thomsen has visions for the products, understands the necessary technology, and can ask critical questions in the organization.
Even after 22 years as a leader, she loves to see the spark and the pride in her employee’s eyes when everything is running and succeeding: “It gives me a rush and goosebumps,” she shares.
